NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS BIDS CLOSE APRIL 2, 2026 WHEATON, MINNESOTA Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Traverse County Engineer at the Office of the Highway Department, 708 3rd Ave. No. (mailing address, P.O. Box 485) Wheaton, Minnesota 56296, telephone (320) 563-4848, until 2:00 PM on April 2nd, 2026 for the following: Project No: SAP 078-609-022 Location: Wheaton, MN SAP 078-609-022; On CSAH #9, from CSAH #6 to CSAH #9; then from Trunk Hwy. #75 to St. Hwy 27: 6.352 miles. TYPE OF WORK: Milling, Stabilized Full Depth Reclamation, Full Depth Reclamation, Bituminous Surfacing, Aggregate Shoulders, and Bituminous Seal Coat Specifications and plans may be examined and secured at the Office of the County Highway Engineer, 708 3rd Ave. No. (mailing address, PO Box 485), Wheaton, MN 56296, telephone (320) 563-4848. Requests for plans, proposal, and specifications must be accompanied by a check, draft or money order for $40.00 per set (non refundable) made payable to the Traverse County Treasurer. A PDF version of the plan and proposal will be available after payment is received. Award or rejection of contract will be done at the Commissioner meeting following the bid opening. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or parts of bids and waive informalities herein. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bidders bond, payable to the Traverse County Treasurer for at least 5% of the proposal, said check or bond to be forfeited to the County if an award is made to a bidder and he fails to execute a contract covering the same. No bidder may withdraw his bid (which includes a certified check, cashiers check or bidders bond) within 15 days after the scheduled closing of the receipt of bids.
