County Highway Project Aitkin, Minnesota CLOSING DATE: Monday, March 9, 2026 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS- Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the office of John Welle, Aitkin County Engineer - 1211 Air Park Drive, Aitkin, MN for the construction projects listed below. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at the Office of the County Engineer immediately after the hour set for receiving bids. PROJECT NUMBER: 2026 Calcium Chloride Application Approximate major items of work are: Application of approximately 550,000 gallons of Liquid Calcium Chloride Proposals and specifications may be examined at or requested from the Office of the County Engineer located at 1211 Air Park Drive, Aitkin, Minnesota 56431, (218) 927-3741. These documents are also available for viewing at www.co.aitkin.mn.us by following the Highway Construction link. Proposals must be on forms furnished by the County Highway Engineer. Proposals must be sealed, identified on the envelope, and each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Aitkin County Treasurer in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the total amount bid.
