There was a question in regards to the amount of temporary raised pavement markers for skip and solid lines. Please refer to the MnDOT TRPM usage document that begins on page 26 of our chip sealing proposal for usage requirements. All quantities and measurements listed in that document shall be followed on Freeborn County's chip sealing project.

Please see Addendum No. 1 in regards to a change in chip sealing quantities. The bid date has not changed.

There was a question about CSAH 22 street intersections approaches. When chip sealing CSAH 22 no street approaches will be completed. Chip sealing operations will be curb to curb and continue straight through intersections.

Posting questions and receiving answers are available on the Freeborn County OneOffice website. You must be an authenticated user to ask questions. Click on the green “ADD” button in the “Messages” section of the Contract page. An “Ask a Question” window will appear (If window does not appear check your popup settings). Type your question in the “Question” area and Click on Submit. The answer will posted in the “Messages” section of the Contract page within 48 hours. All Plan Holders will be notified by email of the question being posted. Click on “Details” next to the message for the answer. Every attempt will be made to answer posted questions within 2 business days. No answers to questions posted after 2:00 pm on the day prior to bid opening date.
