Aitkin County, Minnesota Advertisement for Bids CLOSING DATE: Monday, March 10, 2025 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS- Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the office of the Aitkin County Highway Department - 1211 Air Park Drive Aitkin, MN, for the construction project listed below. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at the Office of the County Engineer immediately after the hours set for receiving bids. PROJECT NUMBER: 2025 Calcium Chloride Application Approximate major items of work are: Application of approximately 550,000 gallons of Liquid Calcium Chloride Proposals and specifications may be examined at or requested from the Office of the County Engineer located at 1211 Air Park Drive, Aitkin, Minnesota 56431, (218) 927-3741. These documents are also available for viewing at www.co.aitkin.mn.us by following the Highway Construction link. Proposals must be on forms furnished by the County Highway Engineer. Proposals must be sealed, identified on the envelope, and each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Aitkin County Treasurer in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the total amount bid.
