Question 16.   Are you requiring this material to be poly coated. PC-CS this also could be interpreted as PC Pipe Culvert, CS Corrugated Steel.
Answer Question 16. PC-CS PIPE CULVERT does mean the culvert is to be poly coated.

Question 14.  Do the PCMS stay up Thru out the Project life.
Answer Question 14. After each individual project has begun the PCMS may be taken down or removed. The PCMS shall be erected two weeks prior to construction beginning for each project.
Question 15.   Mailbox Supports. Are they the New MB Standard 9350C or the old 9350A?
UPDATED (2/14/25 at 2:11 pm) Answer Question 15. The special provisions S-52 specify the new mailbox supports and mailboxes shall be furnished and installed in accordance with MnDOT Standard Specifications, Standard Plate 9350. The  County has determined that the Standard Plate 9350B version of the mailbox support is to be used (See Standard Plate 9350B attached).

Question 13. What is the reason / need for the temp striping to be removed prior to final striping (Incidental)? That will be a substantial value.  How is it to be removed? 
Answer Question 13. If the Temporary Pavement markings are placed correctly, they will be removed when the permanent ground in pavement markings are placed. If they do not get removed with the permanent pavement ground in pavement markings, they will have to be removed another way.

Question 12. The tabulation for both bituminous Type 12.5 Wearing Course Type and 9.5 Wearing Course do not add up in project SAP 009-600-007. It looks like the shoulder quantity of mix was doubled up for both the base and wear.
Answer Question 12. Sheet 6 of 11 on project 009-600-007 was corrected and replaced the original sheet with addendum 2. The quantities for the Bituminous Type 12.5 Wearing Course and Type 9.5 Wearing Course mixture now add up to the 1176-ton total. There is no change to the Bidvault Quantity.

Question 3: The S-42.2 Reclamation section expands on the injections of materials. Are there injections or Portland for this project.  
Answer Question 3. No, there is not any Portland or any other material injected into the reclamation process. 
Question 4. The S-45 section specifically 2360.6-6 and 2360.5-7 have the latest MN DOT incentive/disincentive tables. Per S-46 all those tables are to be waived? 
Answer Question 4. The S-45 specs are updates to the spec book that are included in the special provisions. S-46 2360 PLANT MIXED ASPHALT PAVEMENT LOCAL GOVERNEMENT UNIT should be followed that blanks out the Incentive and Disincentive tables for 2360.3-2, 2360.5-6 and 2360.5-7. 
Question 5. Does VRAM need to be tack-less prior to paving. 
Answer Question 5. VRAM is not an emulsion so it can be paved over as soon as it is placed, it does not need to have a “cure” time to set before paving. It does need to have time to cool down to 130 degrees before driving on or crossing over with equipment. 
Question 6. Himango Road has two pay items for traffic control on Bidvault but the plans only show one. 
Answer Question 6. This will be addressed by addendum 2
Question 7. The VRAM quantity is on project 009-116-012 quantity is 116,725SF in Bidvault the quantity in the plans is 11672SF.

Question 8. The 6” SOLID LINE MULTI_COMPONENT GR IN (WR) quantity in Bidvault is different than the plans.

Question 9. The SIGN PANEL TYPE C on plan 009-600-007 is entered twice in Bidvault.
Answer question 9. This will be addressed by addendum 2
Question 10. Can you please clarify that the adjust valve box and adjust frame and ring casting pay items are for “Concrete Encased Valve/Manhole Collars”. 
Answer Question 10. The adjust frame ring and ring casting items are shown as a drawing in the plans. A place to look at what is required would be plan 009-114-013 (C.R. 114 Reservation Road) page 9.
Question 11. Will there be flexibility with the Chub Lake Park schedule if we would like to tackle it earlier than 8/1/25.
Answer Question 11. There could be flexibility in the Chub Lake Park schedule. However, this is a busy park in the evenings and weekends. The contractor would need to complete work and be offsite by 4:00 PM daily and no work on weekends. All work times will need to be coordinated with County staff.

Question 1: I printed off addendum #1 and the sheets for Chub Lake Park accordingly, but I don’t see the changes from the originals. 
Answer Question 1: The change is to the pavement markings. The original plan called for 4” SOLID LINE MULTI-COMPONENT (WR) and 4” BROKEN LINE MULTI-COMPONENT (WR). The addendum changes the pavement markings on the plan to 4" SOLID LINE MULTI-COMPONENT and 4" BROKEN LINE MULTI-COMPONENT, no wet reflective.
